Setting

The Elegor setting

Elegor is a high-fantasy setting that reaches across more than one world. What follows is a short glimpse; the full record lives in the Compendium.

Worlds and the Rift

Elegor is a planet, and Asarion is another. Both share the Nexus Field that runs through stone, breath, and spellcraft, and both still bear the consequences of the wound opened during the Heresy War. The Rift divides what survived from what presses against it.

The peoples

Eight sapient species share the surface of Elegor. Their languages, cultures, and histories cross more than four thousand recorded years, and the Compendium catalogues them by name.

The Gods

The Gods of Elegor are known to mortals through theology, observation, and recorded contact. Their actions shaped the events that every chronicle still measures from.

Set'Sin is the most reticent of the pantheon, master of astronomy, the Nexus, and dreams. His Selenars keep the Lunarchives, where every night ever charted is etched into silver.

The Hollowdark

A second society lives beneath the surface of Elegor. The Hollowdark stretches under every continent, and the Zaergarai (six strains of beings the surface calls Demons) make it home.

The Greed strain runs the Shrouded Vaults, a hidden network of banks and trade routes for anyone with reason to keep their wealth out of sight. Their rivalry with the Asarkai keeps Elegor's parallel economy in motion.

Beyond the Rift

The Daru'umai are known presences beyond the Rift. The Nexus Field still tears in fragile places, and each Fracture briefly lets Darukin pass through into Elegor.

Three orders organise the public response: the Sentinels of the Apocalypse, the ARC Order, and the Heralds of a New Dawn. Each has its own remit, and together they keep Elegor's relationship with the Nexus under control.
