Privacy policy

This policy covers join requests submitted through elegor.world. It explains what personal data is collected, why it is processed, and what rights you hold under the GDPR.

Privacy policy (join requests)

This policy explains how your personal data is handled when you send a join request through elegor.world. It applies to the information you enter in the character creator and the message you send to the Elegor team.

Data controller

The data controller is Davide Ravasi, Via Magenta 7A, 22060 Carugo (CO), Italy (codice fiscale RVSDVD90M21F704Z). For any request concerning your data, write to davide@elegor.world.

What we collect

When you submit a join request we collect the email address you provide, the contributor details you fill in (the assets you can work with, the real-world fields of knowledge you select and whether you hold references, and your availability for assignments), and the in-lore character details you create (species, colours, order, name, optional age, optional backstory). We also record the date of your consent.

Why we process it

We process this data to read and evaluate your join request, to reply to you, and to manage your possible participation in the project. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, given when you tick the consent box.

How long we keep it

We keep join requests for as long as needed to evaluate them and to manage your participation, and we remove them when they are no longer needed for these purposes or when you ask us to.

Who can see it

Your data is handled by the Elegor team and the curatorial body in formation. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. Email delivery passes through the service provider that operates the elegor.world inbox.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. Write to davide@elegor.world to exercise these rights. You can withdraw your consent at any time, which stops further processing without affecting what was done before. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Children

The join process is meant for people aged 16 or over. If you are younger, ask a parent or guardian before sending a request.
